Family History

The branches of my family tree extend to widely separated parts of England.
Guernsey 1924 In the Cornwall and Devon pages you can read about the RUNDLEs of Penryn and St.Austell, who moved to Devonport in the mid-19thC. One of their daughters married a son of the BERRY family from Brixham and they moved to London where they raised ten children, the youngest being my grandfather.

In the Kent pages you can read about the SPICE family of Bapchild near Sittingbourne and see a photograph of the "Spice Girls", one of whom later became my grandmother.

In the Yorkshire pages you can read about the HILLS family who farmed near Sherburn in Elmet and Doncaster in the mid 19thC, later moving to Thorpe Salvin and Sheffield. The Mason family of Coal Aston and Dronfield moved to Sheffield, one of their daughters married into the HILLS family and became my grandmother.
